AFF COURSE (ACELERATED FREE FALL)
The AFF Course (Accelerated Free Fall) is the most modern method available for beginners to skydiving. This method does not use hooked jumps.
From the first jump, you will leave the aircraft at an altitude of 4,000 meters and free fall for 45 seconds at 250 km/h before opening your parachute.
The course consists of 6 hours of theoretical classes (handout + audio visual) and 7 free jumps.
On the first 3 jumps, you will be accompanied by 2 instructors. They will accompany you during the entire free fall until the moment the parachute opens. Afterwards, you will land aided by a radio communication device installed in your jump helmet.
From the 4th to the 7th jump you will jump with only one instructor.
In each jump, you'll have tasks to accomplish, such as: falling steady, performing 180º and 360º turns, looping forwards and backwards, etc. All jumps can be filmed by a cameraman who jumps with you. On the ground, the images are analyzed by the instructor, who can give you corrections for the next jumps (optional - separate prices).
After 7 jumps you will be trained, you will receive your license from the Brazilian Parachuting Confederation and you will be able to skydive anywhere in the world. The courses are private. The theoretical part can be done on any weekday in Rio de Janeiro or Resende at the instructor's or student's home at a time to be arranged.
The theory can also be done at Skydive Resende on weekends, however, we recommend that students do theoretical instruction on weekdays as this way on Saturday morning the student will arrive at Skydive Resende already ready to jump.
All jumps are held at Resende Airport on weekends. The student can do the 7 jumps in a weekend and graduate, or even do only 1 jump per month, depending on the availability of time and money of each one.
The total price of the course is divided by the 7 jumps. The student pays as he jumps.
In this way, the duration of the course is defined by the student.
